Investing in Safe Transportation

Georgetown is committed to investing in sustainable transportation that will help ease pedestrian traffic on neighborhood streets and will keep students safe. 

We recently increased our investment in safe transportation by adding M Street Shuttle and Late night Shuttle routes – connecting campus to M Street, Dupont Circle and Adams Morgan – to compliment the existing routes connecting West Georgetown and Burleith with campus. These shuttles keep students safe and reduces pedestrian traffic on neighborhood streets.

In addition to the new M Street Shuttle, nearly 27,421 students use neighborhood shuttles to and from West Georgetown and Burleith and campus.
