Committed to Improving the Quality of Life in the Georgetown and Burlieth Neighborhoods
Georgetown University is investing in quality of life initiatives to benefit our students, our neighbors and our entire community.
We do this by collecting tons of trash off neighborhood streets during twice daily trash patrols, seven days a week, in West Georgetown and Burleith. Our Late Night Loop Shuttles accommodate thousands of students looking for connections between campus to M Street, Adams Morgan, Dupont Circle and surrounding neighborhoods on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. On those nights, MPD officers patrol neighborhood streets.
We hope you will visit this site often to receive updates on our investments and to measure our progress.
Georgetown is committed to ensuring a high quality of life for our students, our neighbors and our community – today and into the future.
