Office of Neighborhood Life’s goal is that our students take responsibility for fostering good relationships with the permanent residents in their neighborhoods. ONL staff helps students learn the importance of conduct and courtesy in a residential community.

Gwen has been with Georgetown University since Fall 2017, first serving as the Program Coordinator for ONL. Gwen then worked her way up; spending some time as the Community Director for Burleith and Foxhall, then the Assistant Director and up to her current role. Gwen obtained her BS in Biological Sciences at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and is a double Hoya with an MPA in Higher Education and a MS in Physiology & Biophysics from Georgetown University (Hoya Saxa!). Gwen has a passion for student wellness and educational programming. Outside of work, Gwen enjoys crafting, DIY projects, hanging out with her dog and getting lost in Wikipedia pages.

Degrees: BA Multimedia Journalism from Virginia Tech
Laré joined the Office of Neighborhood Life in Fall 2022 as the Community Director for Burleith and Foxhall. Laré obtained her BA in Multimedia Journalism with a Minor in Cinema from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). After working in the Film and Broadcasting industry, she made the transition to Higher Ed with an interest in community building and programming. Outside of work, Laré enjoys video games, photography, movies and spending time with family, friends and her dog Roxie.
Sidiki Tarawali

Degrees: BS Communications from Frostburg State University
Sidiki has joined the Georgetown University community in the Fall 2022, serving as the Community Director for Georgetown. Sidiki earned his BS in Communications at Frostburg State University and is currently completing his MBA at the University of Maryland. As a professional, Sidiki enjoys working as an advocate for student organizations and community engagement. Outside of work Sidiki enjoys reading, finding local open mics/live music shows, traveling and spending time with family.
David Fleury

Degree: BS in Sports and Rec Management from James Madison University
David started as the Program Coordinator with the Office of Neighborhood Life in the Spring of 2022 where he grows relationships with fellow Hoya students and Neighbors alike in the community. In May 2021, David completed his degree from James Madison University (Go Dukes!!) in S&R Management and is planning on continuing his education with Georgetown in the future. In his free time, David loves to play on his drum set, frequent the soccer field, and overall be with friends.
