Office of Neighborhood Life’s goal is that our students take responsibility for fostering good relationships with the permanent residents in their neighborhoods. ONL staff helps students learn the importance of conduct and courtesy in a residential community.

Cory has been the Director of Neighborhood Life since 2013. Prior to this, Cory worked in the Office of Residential Living since Fall 2006 in several positions. As Director of ONL, Cory oversees the support of undergraduate and graduate students living off-campus, the Student Neighborhood Assistance Program (SNAP), off-campus housing resources, graduate housing partnerships, and assists in the day to day support of the Georgetown Community Partnership (GCP). Cory’s professional interests include University Town/Gown relations, community engagement, group facilitation, and social justice education. Outside of work, Cory enjoys spending time with family, movies and multi-sport activities.

Gwendolyn Coleman

Gwen has been with Georgetown University since Fall 2017, first serving as the Program Coordinator and then as the Community Director for Burleith and Foxhall. Gwen obtained her BS in Biological Sciences at Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and her MPA in Higher Education from Georgetown University (Hoya Saxa!). Gwen has a passion for student wellness and educational programming. Outside of work, Gwen enjoys crafting, DIY projects, hanging out with her dog and getting lost in Wikipedia pages.

David Fleury

Program Coordinator

David started as the Program Coordinator with the Office of Neighborhood Life in the Spring of 2022 where he grows relationships with fellow Hoya students and Neighbors alike in the community. In May 2021, David completed his degree from James Madison University (Go Dukes!!) in S&R Management and is planning on continuing his education with Georgetown in the future. In his free time, David loves to play on his drum set, frequent the soccer field, and overall be with friends.
